What should Sheinbaum do about Trump?

Formal Madam President Claudia Sheinbaum:

Forget about correspondence with someone who doesn’t even read your own posts.

Stop playing telephone with Donald Trump , who says you said what you say you didn’t say.

Assume the role that López Obrador assigned to you. Be a real President, put aside blind obedience and, for your own good, act as Head of State.

Understand that there are multiple actors and governments interested in distorting the development of our country. The internal ones weigh heavily — insecurity, above all — but all have been precipitated by the actions of the unhinged Trump — enthroned mostly by the white trash or American trailer trash .

Mexico is on the brink of the precipice. The latent state of war announced by the next occupant of the White House, on the financial, commercial, migratory, security, economic and political fronts, indicates that we are already a Nation in a historical emergency.

If you don’t understand this, you are out of touch with reality. You must take urgent, viable and practical actions, where shouting from the stage of the Treasury Hall of the National Palace is not appropriate.

We are already fed up with the demagogic clamor of the “masiosare” (big bosses).

This is just making noise. Put some substance into it. The nation needs it. The drums are beating.

And if the little government of the 4T does not want to or cannot do it, that is its problem. We, you and I, fellow citizens, are obliged to propose the creation of a broad current of opinion that puts pressure on the cowards, or the sellouts and traitors… which I believe is the case.

So, Claudia Sheinbaum, here’s what you have and what you should do:

Do not further indebt the country

What any nationalist government would do, in order to return to the origins of the social and democratic State of Law that we have always had in the Constitution — and which they only bring out of the closet when they want to demand that the population deprive itself and constrain itself — is now a shared and extremely necessary duty. No one can ask another to sacrifice themselves if the proponent does not want to do so.

Immediately suspend all of AMLO’s pharaonic and superfluous works, designed to provide kickbacks for his children, and redirect these large flows of money to revive and strengthen as much as possible the activities that multiply useful employment in agriculture and manufacturing, which will impact on the rescue of the internal market.

Stop giving away oil to Cubans!

Seriously, suspend the oil rounds and auctions of national assets, with a clear message to American investors in basic energy industries that this game is over. That we are a serious country, with a clear conception of getting back on track and redistributing the benefits generated by our taxes.

And please, stop giving away our oil to Cuba!
