We pay the price for AMLO’s whims
Our political history is filled with a fallacious repertoire and harangues, slogans, symbols, calls and extravagant myths, which has been used as a true weapon of destruction against collective memory.
Not only that, because it has also insulted elementary reasoning and intelligence, lowered the public morality of the population to the point of turning it into a simple troupe of empty rhetoric, insipid slogans and unpunished attacks expressed from the matinees of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Rampant authoritarianism and despotisms of all kinds have been the main obstacle to preventing people from understanding — and even less reflecting — on the meaning and true causes of our misfortune as a Nation overwhelmed and devastated by bad people who define themselves as “transformers”.
Most of the population lets itself be carried away placidly, in a wild way, by some artificially magnified indicators, which reflect a certain upward mobility of the middle classes and supposed government philanthropies typical of paranoids…
…the “poor first”, for example, is given as a function of electoral sentimentalism, religious symbols that invoke the Virgin of Guadalupe and political myths that AMLO invented to build his long-term political project, perpetuator of true dynasties of idiots , corrupt and ignorant, far from the pressing need and deficiencies — health services, education, housing, food, even leisure — without limits of the population.
The people that López Obrador claims to love so much, he infests daily with diatribes, deceptions, falsified figures, his famous “other data.” With this he increases misinformation and even depoliticization, foundations on which monuments to corruption, repression, intolerance, and poverty are erected.
This denigrating framework is part of all the economic paraphernalia and deception to support seductive promises of failed theories that have been put into practice in Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, and until recently in Ecuador and Argentina.
Government with precarious financial situation
It’s the same old jingle. The same one that the cuatroteros or amlovers now support to maintain that the recent increase in fuel prices — via the increase in the IEPS — has no impact on the household economy. The verbal ridicule of these lackeys has no measure, no feet and even less a head.
And it is well known that the difficulty in compensating the government’s income and deficit is due to uncontrolled spending on the so-called flagship works as a result of the dictator’s whim, as well as the low tax collection because they have paralyzed the productive plant and dried up the economy based on diversions, theft and regressive fiscal decisions, and the accumulation of historical external debts without rhyme or reason.
The precarious financial situation of AMLO’s government is in no way the fault of the people, against whom they furiously attack to save their “bisnes” and bureaucratic robberies. It is a product of his inability and ignorance to exercise command. To act only according to whims like that of the Megapharmacy or “farmaciotota” that already costs us more than 2,100 million pesos, without solving the problem of shortages because, even worse, to stock their shelves they are emptying the few stocks they have at the IMSS and ISSSTE pharmacies.
There is also the case of the cancellation of the NAIM which, according to a report published on Carmen Aristegui ‘s website portal, the users of CDMX International Airport pay and will continue to pay with the increasingly expensive TUA, at the cost of the deterioration of the main air terminal in the country. Even part of those resources has been diverted to fund the construction of the failed Mayan Train.
People pay taxes and don’t have to pay the price. Not even AMLO’s whims.
Much less, when a minimum platform of public services, job offers, job training, defense of salaries, promotion of incentives for production, promotion of the cohesion of the social fabric is not established.
When the government discourse cannot go beyond the repression of fundamental rights, the lack of respect for the solutions negotiated in peaceful coexistence, the minimum resources to face the adversities that the hucksters in power have caused.
All Mexicans are paying the price for their blunders.
But yes: they send the entire pack of their gang and spokespersons to disqualify any attempt at popular mobilization, any fence that chooses to adamantly oppose their unbridled devastation of the economy, politics, and society.
Today, everything must obey the speech of the jackals of the 4T. This is not going to get you anywhere. In a country where little is thought, nobody thinks anything.
Starting with López Obrador.
Indications
The video of a talk that magnate Carlos Slim gave to ITAM students is circulating on social networks. He shows a good knowledge of the history of our country and the industrial and commercial development that occurred during much of the 20th century he said, due to the efforts and participation of his father. Several things draw attention. One of them, which took control of Telmex during the pernicious term of Carlos Salinas with only 3.8 percent of the shares! He mocks the workers under the leadership of Francisco Hernández Juárez who, he mocked, in just three months sold most of the 4% share package that corresponded to them in the negotiations for the disincorporation of the then parastatal company. That with that 3.8 percent he became the owner of the largest number of real estate properties in the country, land, and more land where there were telephone exchanges that he converted into immense real estate developments, such as Plaza Carso and Plaza Loreto and Peña Pobre in an ecological zone, south of the national capital, the same as in all cities of the Republic. With that 3.8 percent Slim also became the owner of the largest telecommunications company that existed at that time, and which is still a monopoly. And, best of all, he did not shy away from talking about peaceful government transitions like the one he hopes will take place in 2024, showing his support for the Morenoist “corcholata” directly. From the recent past he left no puppet with a head. He criticized the presidents of the last 40 years, including, of course, Carlos Salinas de Gortari of whom he would have been a partner in several businesses after the privatization of the telephone company. And of course, he showed his support for López Obrador for being a “transformer.” Curious that the talk took place in the facilities of the educational institution founded by Alberto Baillères with whom he had a strong rivalry. Even more so, that the presenter has been the hesitant heir of the founder of Valores Mexicanos Casa de Bolsa, Operadora Valmex de Fondos de Inversión, GNP Seguros, Palacio de Hierro, Industrias Peñoles and its subsidiary Fresnillo, Grupo Profuturo GNP and ITAM. * * * And that’s all for today. Thank you for reading this Political Index. I wish you, as always, good thanks and many, many days!
