The President uses and abuses women
It is becoming increasingly clear that Mrs. Claudia Sheinbaum does not believe in the words she speaks. The ink on that “we all arrived” that was written in the speech she read at her inauguration and that she repeats frequently has already been diluted in convenient practice.
In her speeches she always celebrates the advances of women, but independent feminist movements and a large part of public opinion are incredulous of the statements of the formal President, describing them as demagogic.
Sheinbaum is not on the side of abused women, as was barely seen last Friday in her “morning press conference with the people,” when she did not even refer to the alleged attempted sexual assault by the unpresentable Cuauhtémoc Blanco on her half-sister, who was left a victim of quarrels and revenge by Mrs. Claudia herself.
The heiress of AMLO’s ways and bad manners, on the other hand, was happy and exultant about the dismissal of the now former prosecutor of the state of Morelos, Uriel Carmona , with whom she had outstanding accounts to settle.
If you remember, in this space it was revealed that another scandal was a revenge of the then head of the government of the capital of the country, which had as a fatal victim the young capital city Ariadna Fernanda, gave rise to a confrontation of the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office, then headed by Ernestina Godoy , against the Morelos native of Carmona. Gossip that only used the deceased.
What there was, in effect, was a reprisal because the government intelligence services had discovered that Carmona had spied on Sheinbaum, whom he had even sent to follow on her tours of her long electoral pre-campaign.
After more than 30 days in the high security prison of Altiplano, due to the accusations brought against him by the “autonomous” Godoy on orders from above, the man from Morelos was spared because the judges did not find sufficient reasons to keep him behind bars.
But the arm of vengeance — not that of justice — is long.
Finally, this past Thursday, Carmona was removed from office, immediately after having requested that the Lower House initiate a trial of impeachment against former governor Blanco, not for his alleged ties to organized crime, nor for the accusations of corruption by his successor, Margarita González , but for allegedly having tried to rape his blood relative while intoxicated.
8M — 2022
In a month, on March 8, International Women’s Day will be celebrated again.
There will certainly be mobilizations that have been intensifying and amplified by the hostile reaction of institutional speeches and messages on social networks.
In recent years, these groups have broken the silence on the seriousness of violence against women in Mexico, and have managed to influence public opinion, the political agenda and that of the media.
In the words of Sara Lovera , a journalist who has dedicated more than half a century of her professional activity to the cause of women, in our country there are “19 intentional homicides a day, 11 recognized as femicides; sexual abuse; impunity for femicides and offenders; the disappearance of young girls in the trafficking business; complaints of political violence: the abandonment of the poorest; the scarcity of resources and employment; official consent to discrimination; death from female cancers; the lack of gender policy, and poor medical care.”
There are also the mothers of the victims of the disappeared –who grow in number every day–, but who, as happened at a rally of indigenous and low-income “carried-in” women in March 2022, to counteract the authentic demonstration of feminists, are ignored in their legitimate demands, since Sheinbaum Pardo and the then President of the Republic “attributed them not to reality, but to conservatism, as the person who was head of the Government at that time said, visibly happy,” Lovera also wrote.
8M — 2021
A year earlier, in 2021, women demanding justice and opportunities arrived at the Zócalo in Mexico City. They were greeted by a threatening Fourth Transformation. They were even tear-gassed.
Irrefutable testimony from uniformed officers reported that 36 elements of the Third Section of the “disappeared” Presidential General Staff (disguised under the name of “Operations”) were stationed with what appeared to be long weapons on the roof of the National Palace “for whatever was needed.”
Paintball bullets, pepper spray and tear gas, snipers, batons, clubs… everything, in order to defend the buffoon who has positioned himself as a “leader.” The gorilla of the 60s and 70s of the last century, revived.
The only thing missing were the fixed bayonets and the steel tanks, perhaps because the latter have no fuel or money to move them. Everything was dedicated to the waste in Santa Lucía, and to the infamous construction of the branches of the little Welfare Bank in the places furthest from civilization. There where they are not even seen. There where no one will know if they exist.
At the same time that repression against the population was intensifying, Alejandra Fraustro , the so-called Secretary of Culture, affirmed that the Mayan Train, the chu chu chu of the 4T, is the greatest cultural corridor in our history, since “thanks to this megaproject” we will be able to visit the archaeological ruins of the Yucatan peninsula. Well, in what country did they live?
The guardians of the walls of the city also did not. The then-minister of the Interior, Olga Sánchez , believed that the Fourth Corruption owes women a debt that must be fulfilled, and the “scientist” Claudia Sheinbaum declared that the fierce artillery bombardment of the Zócalo was “so as not to harm the protesters.”
Three four-year-old women, three, absolute enemies of 53% of the national population.
They don’t understand
Repression is at full blast, and the fanatics of Chairopopulism cannot understand that the power of a handful of angry women can be greater than the entire power of the State, since in the last call to come out in defense of their “leader” they gathered barely six thousand sad “carried in” people.
They still do not understand that the wall of ignominy, the metal fence of the medieval castle was torn down by women, the more than twenty-five thousand soldiers and bodyguards employed to repress them were humiliated before their very eyes, and were exhibited before the world as a bunch of incompetents and inepts, just like their petty bosses.
They still do not understand how it was possible that the intelligence of women could make a strategic escalation to organize the synchronous marches of tens of thousands to avoid the triumph of repression and to be able to overcome the many security and combat filters ordered by AMLO and Sheinbaum, always only interested in drinking the breath of the little man from Tepetitán.
Clues
The anti-feminism of the powerful is not exclusive to the 4T. Remember, for example, the epithet that Vicente Fox gave to Mariana Rodríguez , just on the day of the celebration of Non-Violence against Women. But it turned out worse that her husband, who at that time was Dante Delgado ‘s candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, complained that, because of the affair of the former head of the Executive, he “had taken away the grade” from his participation in the International Book Fair that was taking place in Guadalajara. Moreover, this served to revive on social networks videos of the same Mrs. Rodríguez denigrating women and, even worse, of Samuel García calling the woman who was then his fiancée a “whore”, the same as another in which with great baseness he apparently insults a young woman who had been his girlfriend. * * * That’s all for today. My recognition to you who read this far. As always, I wish you good thanks and many, many days!
