Jail for President’s son?

The urgency and desperation of Andrés Manuel López Obrador to win the next federal elections is not only to extend his power and political presence beyond of the six-year term…

…it is, above all, to prevent, if his opponents take over the Presidency of the Republic and the majorities in the Congress of the Union…

… prevent your son Andy, along with his friends, from being the target of criminal proceedings!

And that’s not just here in the country, it is very possible that charges will also be brought against them abroad.

Very powerful in her father’s failed government and a key and highly relevant piece in the team of Claudia Sheinbaum’s long campaign, the “corcholata” favored by AMLO, Andrés Manuel López Beltrán has served as a kind of Rasputín or, if you like, from José María Córdova Montoya –all proportions preserved–, in the main offices of the National Palace.

His father considers him an “expert” in practically everything. Even in matters of security, because — as I told you here not long ago — in one of his smug six in the morning meetings with some members of his ignored cabinet, he asked that Andy be called to give his opinion, disdaining the offered by his Secretaries of Defense, the Navy and Citizen Security, among others.

This unusual power, which not crown princes enjoy in monarchies, has given Andy meta-constitutional powers to make appointments in offices and departments where his friends — few, fortunately — manage large amounts of public resources, have information that, practically at once, they leak to others close to the junior so that they can carry out juicy deals in practically a few hours.

Carlos Loret de Mola, in Latinus, and Iván Alamillo, in Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity, have recently announced one of the many cases of this type of dark operations only from one of the friends of this Andy.

This is also from Tabasco Amílcar Olán who, in just four days, thanks to the information privileged and influence peddling sold medical supplies to the Morenista government Mara Lezama in Quintana Roo for 490 million pesos.

And just yesterday it was learned that “two days before López Obrador laid the first stone of the Dos Bocas refinery… Olán acquired 18 hectares of adjacent land at a price of just 6 pesos per square meter, even though the commercial value in That area is around 1,200 pesos per meter.

“The land is the storage center of one of the largest contractors in Dos Bocas, and the person who sold it at a bargain price expanded his business as a subcontractor at the same refinery.”

To that add other of those dirty businesses exhibited by Loret in his newscast, such as the contracts that Sheinbaum, in his role as ruler of CDMX, and that Sedatu, headed by the political analyst’s son < /span> López Beltrán. Andy, another friend of Hugo Buentello Carbonell, required their bidders to purchase furniture from a company owned by Lorenzo Meyer

Influence peddling…

… privileged information.

Even the spoils of NAIM!

AMLO caused a great first damage to the country with the cancellation of the airport that was being built in Texcoco and that, as if it were another Fobrapoa, it will take us Mexicans several six-year terms to pay their investors.

But there were those who, like Andy’s friends, benefited from it.

Loret de Mola also announced that Conagua delivered a contract for 10 million pesos in 2022 to manage the projects within the park that, at the whim of López Obrador, is built (?) on the remains of the NAIM.

The company that received the contract operates under the name of Logistics Promoter Organization, managed by Carlos Buentello Carbonell — the street furniture man — and its representative is Eduardo Rafel Castro Ávila. Andy, who is a friend — you guess it –, yes, of Alejandro Castro Jiménez Labora, half-brother of Alejandro Castro himself was in charge, by AMLO himself, of fulfilling one of his commitments made in his last presidential campaign: The Malecón of Villahermosa.

The work has caused multimillion-dollar losses due to multiple irregularities.

Only the Superior Audit of the Federation detected cost overruns, payments for services that were not provided and works that were not verified or delivered out of time.

These anomalies totaled 200 million pesos.

So, to influence peddling, to privileged information, add corruption.

Sedatu, by Román Meyer, formalized an agreement to extend the amount of a construction supervision contract, for a total of 2.1 millions of pesos, and that, although the work to be supervised was the Malecón de Villahermosa, in Tabasco, the agency changed the objective of the original contract so that the company would supervise a work, but in San Blas, Nayarit.

Sedatu argued that this modification was due to “privileging” the principles of economy and efficiency because the supervision work was “similar.” However, the ASF observed a possible damage to the treasury of 2.1 million pesos.

These are some of Andy’s friends.

Prison meat? With Andy and his older brother at the helm?

This, I repeat, is why AMLO has thrown all his effort into winning the elections on June 2.

Indications

That thing about Andy and his friends sounds like Porky and his friends, the cartoon series that my generation watched on Channel 5 television. * * * Careful! Do not look for Julio Scherer Ibarra by phone. Its lines are tapped, and someone has done society the enormous favor of leaking –again!– a harsh and rude ultimatum to the prosecutor of Morelos, Uriel Carmona, whom the four members of the Lower House, very Lower, unsealed this Wednesday, thus fulfilling what was said by Scherer, who is an active member of Sheinbaum’s team. We had already heard the former legal advisor in a fierce confrontation with the prosecutor Alejandro Gertz, and back in 2000 with a reporter from the magazine Process to whom he asked not to publish a report in which he appeared in very bad terms. * * * The Legislature of Morelos, however, threw into the trash can what was decided by the federal deputies of Morena. “It is declared that the approval of the declaration of provenance issued by the Chamber of Deputies of the Congress of the Union against Uriel Carmona Gándara, for which there is no place to put it at the disposal of the ministerial authority, the latter being obliged to refrain from taking criminal action against the aforementioned public servant”, an agreement that was reached in the early hours of this Thursday, December 14. * * * Another defeat for the Cuatroteros occurred in the old Donceles venue, where the CDMX Congress meets. They did not obtain the qualified majority to approve the re-election of Ernestina Godoy as “carnala” prosecutor in the national capital, which surely angered AMLO and, of course, Mrs. Sheinbaum. * * * And Martí Batres cannot put aside his well-known role as a “joiner”, even when he serves as a substitute at the Head of the capital’s government, well, he also used the threat against those who did not vote for the re-election of the controversial Godoy. * * * The substitute senator Alejandro Rojas Díaz Durán did not completely lose his claims before the Court against the former minister Arturo Zaldívar. will have “modest” retirement benefits after the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court of Justice decided that additional benefits that were approved during the presidency of the former minister himself are not in force. So, he will “only” get 193 thousand pesos per month, 93 percent of the salary of active ministers of 206 thousand pesos per month, during the first two years of his retirement, since he only completed 14 of the 15 years of the designation of him. For the rest of his life, he will receive 80 percent of the amount and he is entitled to be paid by the Court for three assistants. He should give up those benefits, don’t you think? To be consistent with the “Franciscan austerity” of the 4T in which he now shamelessly militates. * * * AMLO has already disdained his legal advisor María Estela Ríos. Now two of her proposals to fill the vacant seat in the SCJN will become victims of her contempt, after the Morenistas and accompanying fauna in the Senate failed to appoint her. * * * And that’s all for today. I wish you, as always, good thanks and many, many days!
