He’s already gone crazy!
It’s true. As he himself repeats that power makes the smart ones, stupids, and the idiots, crazy. That’s his case. He’s crazy! He’s lost his mind! Right? No. Not that one. He hasn’t been right for a while now.
Putting relations with the ambassadors of Canada and the United States, our main trading partners, “on hold,” shows him to be unhinged. Out of his mind. Capricious. The furthest thing from what a head of state should be.
It is the end of a disastrous government in which Andrés Manuel López Obrador has made such crazy decisions that one cannot distinguish the thin line that has been drawn between the wave of indignation they provoke… or the resounding laughter that is already echoing throughout the Continent. Both, equally critical, equally bitter, negative for the despotic project of the leader.
This is no longer a political or electoral problem, it has already transcended, it is now an issue that must do not only with the public ethics of Mexican society and the etiology of a party in power, but with a psychiatric treatment that AMLO should undergo.
It is no longer a question of defending a man so that he can take control of a battered land. It is a completely erratic project. Antidemocratic and repressive. Madness!
Today in Mexico there is a preponderance of folly that, combined with negligence and ignorance, causes economic and political earthquakes. The reform of the Judicial Branch is the epicenter that has repercussions in the disappearance of constitutional autonomous bodies and in the absolute militarization of public security.
The nonsense is one of the most classic and sinister structures in the history of governments. AMLO replaces argumentative debate with absurd confrontation.
The insane with power enclose the rest in a thousand ways: they overwhelm them with lies that suffocate, they shout, they control, they prevent everything they can prevent.
They spread resentment, often only to cover up delusional scams, sowing poverty, deep uncertainty, and horizons without suns. This combination predicts waves of economic and social trauma and massive negligence.
The phenomenon is contagious and the madness spreads to wide circles housed in shelters that sooner or later collapse.
Courtiers who cling to the cobwebs of privileges of governments such as AMLO’s or Maduro’s in Venezuela contribute to the general unrest.
Vassals like Mario Delgado who urge to give the leader “a great gift” before he leaves the presidential office: the reforms of the so-called Plan C wrapped in a bow of ignominy.
Devaluation and inflation are some of the consequences of madness in power and of the power of madness. And also the confinement of entire societies, progressively marginalized and economically uprooted from the rest of the world, satisfied with only receiving social support a month.
This madness of the powerful is fueled by the irresponsibility of the mercenaries of power who celebrate and defend it in exchange for the reprehensible payment of indignity.
And the list of unworthy ones is long.
AMLO is not Elias Calles
Will the madness continue in the extremely near future?
There are many who think so.
That from his farm in Palenque AMLO will pull the strings of Claudia Sheinbaum , as he has done until now, and that it will be his 21st century narco-socialism projects that will be imposed on Mexicans.
But comparing the Tabasco native with the Sonoran Plutarco Elías Calles and the maximato he exercised is out of place. Calles built institutions. López has destroyed them.
He also knows that the survival of Morena depends on his permanence in the political arena. Today he feels insecure that, without him at the helm, his Movement will be paralyzed and, already static, begin to crumble.
A Movement that, without organization, cannot consolidate itself as a political party. In addition, there is already a pitched battle within Morena that puts its existence at risk as it was when it finally achieved presidential power in 2018.
AMLO himself unleashed it by bringing forward his own succession by several years. By showing favoritism for one of those he nicknamed “bottle caps”: Claudia Sheinbaum. By not hiding hatred and resentment towards the one he thinks is carrying the contras and only acts within the constitutional framework, as was the case of the now submissive and unrecognizable Ricardo Monreal .
He uses whoever will let him as an instrument for his phobias — even if it means breaking the legal framework that governs us, because “they don’t tell him that the law is the law” — because he owes a lot and he knows that only in this way, by hitting, by spreading illegal leaks of conversations, will he be able to obtain “divine forgiveness” for his many thefts. And that is what is seen on the surface. But underneath, “there is still more” … as that announcer said.
Clues
AMLO is not alone in his madness. Among those who suffer from a mental deviation for power are the leaders of organized crime groups and the corrupt. They reveal themselves by a pretense of being “untouchable,” which they believe is attractive, but is so repulsive that it is impossible to admire. The insane for power usually fall into this state aided by a group of even lower accomplices. They act as courtiers who, like that king in the story, make the official, boss or capo believe that their clothes and talents are unmatched, with the sole purpose of ensuring their own privileges, until some sensible person reveals to the monarch that he is naked and making a fool of himself. * * * Please accept my recognition for having read this far.
