Delgado “sells” candidacies
Most likely, Mario Delgado has just over six months of political life left…
… although there are those who say that this could last a few more months, a year at most.
And the thing is that the National Palace does not look favorably on the very explainable enrichment of the Colimota.
It is there, in the headquarters of the Federal Executive Branch itself, where in recent days the voices of Morenistas have been heard complaining about not agreeing that Delgado fattens his portfolio at their expense.
The cries against him are not new.
As the formal leader of the Andrés Manuel López Obrador Movement, Don Mario has amassed a scandalous fortune that, invariably, has dark origins.
These fantastic amounts are added to everything that, alongside Marcelo Ebrard, he managed to add to his wealth as Secretary of Finance of the government of the national capital.
About the latter run the versions never distorted by him, of the juicy business that the failed and fateful construction of Metro Line 12 represented for them…
… either because of the profits derived from the exchange rate of pesos to foreign currencies, or because of the extra costs that companies charge governments to then “moche” with corrupt officials …
…amen, of course, to the many chicanery that dishonest characters can carry out from the positions in which taxes are collected and enormous amounts of cash are administered, without any supervision.
Already at the head of Morena “Mario became mules” through the suspicious relationship with Sergio Carmona Angulo, aptly named King of Huachicol , who not only financed his campaign to reach the leadership of the Cuatrotero party, as a Tamaulipas also contributed money for the campaign of the current president of the northwest entity, Américo Villarreal Jr.
Delgado has let these versions spread, as if they gave him prestige.
That may be so, especially if it is a Movement that is not precisely characterized by fighting corruption…
… If not the opposite!
You say if this is not the case when at its peak is none other than The King of Cash.
It’s worse for Mario if this little king doesn’t get his cut of the pie.
Don’t you believe?
Society for crime
The complaints heard in the National Palace about Mario Delgado’s conduct, I told you before, revolve around the sale of candidates…
…hypocritically disguised as “political advice” …
… or more directly, “come with us and we will not only make you a candidate, but we will also do everything for you to win,” according to the complainants, whose identity I am keeping so as not to provoke reprisals.
Those who regret having believed that in Morena those old vices of Mexican-style politics that Delgado sends to candidates for elected positions (federal deputies, local councils, mayors, etc.) with whom he is apparently his partner in This “bisnes”, a certain Iván Silva who is the owner or director of the consulting firm Heurística to which the until now majority party has awarded many contracts and, consequently, many millions of pesos.
Thus, they say, the “complete package” to be a federal deputy goes from three and a half million pesos to five or even more, depending on the district for which the “candidate” is running.
From there upwards if it is a senatorship and not to mention what they charged the candidates for a governorship for the “complete package” which, I imagine, must be surveys, image management, and everything that is customary in the electoral campaigns of Mexican politics.
Good deal, don’t you think?
If you multiply the four candidates to the 20,285 positions in which Morena will nominate candidates.
Good trick to sell applications, don’t you think?
That is why the arch-millionaire Delgado has only been in politics for a few months.
But he will leave with his saddlebags full.
Don’t you believe?
Indications
According to AMLO, the Argentines who voted for Javier Milei scored an own goal. Who knows if that’s the case. The real thing is that it already happened here in 2018. We Mexicans scored ourselves by voting mostly for López Obrador and, even worse, by giving Morena the majorities in the Chambers of Congress. All of this has harmed the country and has encouraged the dictator of the fourth… transformation to entertain the possibility of a Maximato through a weak presidential candidate, who he does not raise, and who will continue under his orders beyond the end of the current one six-year term. * * * There are those who warn of a gradual distancing of the “corcholata” favored by Claudia Sheinbaum with the candidate for the head of Government of CDMX Clara Brugada , as she was not present at the start of the pre-campaign of the Morenista who won — whatever it may have been — to Omar García. * * * Why are you surprised by the venality of the former PRI member Adrián Rubalcava? Selling oneself as a hetaira has been a noticeably clear characteristic of many members of the so-called political class… of all party franchises, without exception. What is truly astonishing is that he announces his betrayal as if it were a source of pride. * * * The increasingly frequent oratory “slips” of the pre — candidate and Jesús Zambrano … plus those that come to mind at certain moments to the witty Hidalgo native! Order is what is missing. * * * A report from the magazine eme-equis revealed, barely, that, once again! Epigmenio Ibarra was a beneficiary of new tax condonations. He already has nineteen of these. Amen, of course, to the “loan” of 150 million pesos that the Cuatrotera Administration granted him a couple of years ago. * * * An unsolicited piece of advice for Samuel García, MC’s pre-candidate for the Presidency. That all his spots star his wife, Mariana Rodríguez. The one he opened his pre-campaign with turned out to be a success. * * * There are many of us who agree with Senator Patricia Mercado, who has publicly expressed her rejection of Dante Delgado’s party giving a candidacy to the television personality known as Diamante Negro. “I do not support the pre-candidacy of Roberto Palazuelos to the Senate by @MovCiudadanoMX,” Mercado reported on his “who has threatened to ‘settling scores’ against a former worker, who for decades has boasted of benefiting from influence peddling and abuses of power.” * * * And that’s all for today. I wish you, as always, good thanks and many, many days!
