Claudia only provokes Trump. And he is not joking
What is Mrs. Claudia Sheinbaum playing at ? Why has she spent the last few days provoking Donald Trump ? Does she know what she is doing?
He said a couple of months ago that he would no longer use his “morning press conferences” to respond to the President-Elect of the United States.
And, as usual, continuing with the cuatroteros custom of making commitments and not fulfilling them, she quickly ignored his words.
If the New Yorker threatens with tariffs, she immediately responds that Mexico will also apply them to American products.
If the next occupant of the White House goes against Justin Trudeau , she will come to the Canadian’s defence.
And now, if the almost octogenarian says that he is going to rename the Gulf of Mexico “because Gulf of America” even sounds beautiful , she immediately turns around and says that the United States should be called Mexican America “because it sounds nice, right?”
The lady, as it turns out, does not take Trump’s threats seriously.
His remarks and jokes — in poor taste — are not directed at the American president, but at his loyal audiences. However, his jokes and remarks are noted by the intelligence services of the American Union and in one way or another they reach those who have been receiving their reports since the first moment he was declared the winning candidate.
What is happening to the lady that some call President… without yet fully assuming the Federal Executive Power?
Could it be that, like those who believe themselves to be exaggeratedly important, they have the feeling that they are at the centre of everything, that they are necessary, indispensable, and have the last word on all aspects of life?
That is why they are more fragile and perishable. The limit of human perception is the timidity and the shortness of the unconsciousness that the petty tyrants possess.
Individuals who have no mercy even for their weaknesses, who have grown accustomed to laughing at themselves, even though their mistakes may involve great tragedies, because the only thing that matters to them is the banal flattery of those interested in the occasion, because they always find those who are looking for the same thing.
She doesn’t even take herself seriously
Modern analysts of the subject have come to the conclusion that self-importance is usually fueled by feelings, which can range from the desire to be liked and accepted by one’s peers to petulance and sarcasm. Exaggerated self-importance is a relentless poison. It is a brake on political action and on community life.
When a person with that characterology, like Donald Trump, is desperate, he is capable of all that and more.
A couple of weeks after taking office and after having praised Claudia Sheinbaum, after the two had a phone call, he is back to his old ways, as we had all anticipated.
His attitude towards the submissive hemisphere has not changed one iota.
If anyone came to believe that, after that trick, everything was going to be rosy, they were simply mistaken; their anthropological genotype was stronger.
A new barrage against migrants, the need for a border wall, the repression against the hard-working Mexicans who largely sustain their way of life, is accelerating in their eagerness to make America great again, as their mantra goes.
A reinforced narrative about the terrorism of Mexican drug cartels, and the fight to the death, which involves destroying all guarantees even for peaceful citizens, is on the horizon.
Trump once again maintains that both the enemies of the Great Wall and the sovereign owners of oil and raw materials essential to the production process are the true enemies of the Empire.
They are worse than the SS murderers at Auschwitz, as the first step to re-install paranoia, the same that has already failed in the area of tariffs, in immigration intolerance, in the lion’s conditions in trade exchange with all countries of the world.
And the West cannot expect the paranoid Trump to discover worse enemies than the Wehrmacht , Benito Mussolini ‘s brownshirts , Japanese kamikazes and Mexican drug traffickers.
It could not be otherwise. The white trash electorate is relentless in its supremacist ambitions. And it forms the central core of the attack. From now on, the fight will come that will have to be tested in the field against all the organizations that only survive because the corrupt American system demands it.
Man does not change in his essence.
We are in the hands of crazy people.
And that is what Mrs. Sheinbaum does not understand, she provokes him one day and the next too.
Doña Claudia had better start taking herself seriously. She is the President of the Republic.
And Donald Trump is not bragging, much less joking.
The country will thank her.
