AMLO and sons, more corrupt than EPN and his gang
For the formal President of our country, what the World Bank and the World Economic Forum, as well as local and foreign businessmen perceive in terms of government corruption is irrelevant. What is important for Mrs. Claudia Sheinbaum is what “the people” perceive, that is, Morena’s clientele.
The fact, however, is that the universally accepted measurements of Transparency International recently released have placed the government of the Fourth Transformation in its correct dimension.
Corruption was not eliminated in the previous six-year term, that of El Innombrable 2.0 . On the contrary, it increased in 2024.
At the end of the 2018–2024 six-year period, Mexico obtained only 26 out of 100 possible points on the corruption index, which placed the country in 140th place out of 180 countries evaluated by Transparency International. In those six years, it dropped two points, where 0 is clean and 180 is very rotten.
Ms. Sheinbaum would like these figures not to be disclosed. To remain a secret.
And the fact is that, since always, in Mexico, the secrets that the State keeps are not part of scientific research, war invasions or sophisticated weapons. No. They are unfortunately pure matters that have to do with the corruption that eats away at us like Streptococcus A, which threatens to devour the hard and soft parts of any body on a daily basis.
The worst thing is that everyone knows them. It’s like trying to hide them from Uncle Lolo . They are on the side of every road, at the door of every home, in the living room of every restaurant. When it comes to corruption in Mexico, the only thing needed to exterminate, at least the emblematic ones, is to start, as Mark Twain said .
Because the small group of ignorant people who have reached the highest positions in the State, not to mention. Nobody can explain why they are still there, causing so much harm. The problem is that ignorance has also been covered by handouts. Many of them receive the help of the most corrupt members of the apparatus.
And as long as they do not step up, it will not be possible to make extremely urgent decisions, without which the credibility bonus will sink sooner rather than later. It is a vital issue for the new regime to transcend the narrow limits of morning conferences. Something must be done and soon, say thousands of citizens.
Main problem of the country
The corruption of the Fourth Transformation, led by AMLO and his three eldest sons, has become synonymous with Mexican misfortune.
The catastrophe that devastates even the foundations of the country. A scourge that came suddenly, transformed into a hecatomb by a gang of Tabasco natives without a job or benefit, trained to destroy every vestige of honesty.
And yet there are those who believe that it is exaggerated when corruption is pointed out as the main burden of the country and of Morena. However, the proof that it is so is the revelations of the Latinus platform and, above all, the book El Rey del Cash by the researcher Elena Chávez : AMLO has lived for decades thanks to many corrupt acts.
But there are still more signs that confirm the assertion that corruption is the country’s main problem. There are official statements publicly recognizing that the country’s great wealth, based on its energy, tourism and agricultural assets, traditionally generating foreign currency, have lost their importance in the national accounts.
The bankruptcy of the “state company,” as the four-member gang recently called Pemex, plus the excessive abuses within the tourist facilities, the uncleanliness in the marketing of the land and the drug trafficking operating on the country’s emblematic beaches, the huachicoleo and the contracting, have ruined the two strategic pieces of Mexican development.
Unfortunately for this and future generations, the country has been brought to its knees by the neglect of agricultural production, paralyzed industrial plants, and commercial activities in the hands of foreigners and secret societies, services outsourced to monopolies, plus inflation, lack of jobs, and widespread theft of public budgets.
Today, the remittances that migrants in the United States still send after Herculean efforts, originally expelled by the disastrous economic system, insecurity and corruption, bear the burden of the heavy march of the national economy.
The amount of migrant remittances has long surpassed oil production, tourism and tax collection, which has been trivialized and dismantled. A global shame, even more so when it is added that between these external resources and the liquid money in circulation, mostly the product of drug trafficking, the entire buying and selling and marketing apparatus moves. Especially when the beneficiaries of the 4T leave the displaced to their fate.
It is not just the professional communicators who say this, exercising an obligation threatened and sentenced to death from the watchtowers of offended bureaucrats and repressors who add more victims to their catalogue every day; they themselves accept it, because it is materially impossible to continue hiding it. They have been overtaken by the stupidity and harsh reality of Mexico.
Everyone steals our effort
Corruption disqualifies any national effort, destroys business and labor initiatives, corrupts the fundamental structures of the country, nullifies all action, inflames impoverished society and disqualifies from the outset any international agreement or business that seeks investments or benefits for those governed.
AMLO’s four-handers instill fear in foreign companies, due to their excessive greed in the commissions they demand, due to the cheating in the awards, due to the lack of word in the commitments they make, due to the constant stalking to assault them, on the playing field or with the tricks they set for them from the Stock Exchange in the hands of scoundrels, corrupt people of seven soles.
No one thinks in terms of transparency anymore — the 4T just put an end to it — much less in a national project that dignifies the country. Everyone is dedicated to exploiting it and hindering it.
Corruption drives away any entrepreneur and mediates any worker leader through bribery. In the States of the Federation, all the bad practices that are exemplified from the center of power are reproduced.
Clues
It is a lie that La Llorona appears in the streets of the Historic Center only at night.
